Matthew G. Bucek, PE, is the President of Roaring Run Power Consulting, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the electric utility and power delivery industry. Throughout his career, Matt has led multidisciplinary teams responsible for the planning, design, operation, and modernization of critical electrical infrastructure, earning a reputation for practical problem-solving, collaborative leadership, and an unwavering commitment to client service.
Prior to founding Roaring Run Power Consulting, Matt held senior leadership positions with a major electric utility, where he directed organizations responsible for substations, grid protection and control, telecommunications, distribution automation, asset management, and underground operations. In these roles, he oversaw the execution of complex capital programs, managed significant engineering and construction resources, and guided initiatives focused on improving reliability, resiliency, safety, and operational performance.
Today, Matt works directly with utilities, renewable energy developers, data center clients, industrial facilities, and engineering partners to deliver responsive, technically sound solutions tailored to each client’s unique objectives. His experience spans substation engineering, protection and control systems, utility interconnection support, commissioning, power system studies, and owner’s engineering services. He believes that the most effective engineering solutions come from understanding each client’s goals, maintaining open communication, and remaining personally invested in project success from start to finish.
Matt is a licensed Professional Engineer in numerous states and can obtain additional state licensure as project needs require. Through Roaring Run Power Consulting, he provides clients with direct access to experienced leadership and the confidence that comes from knowing their projects are being guided by professionals who understand both the technical and operational realities of the evolving electric grid.

Selenna Gregg serves as Managing Partner of Roaring Run Power Consulting, bringing more than 25 years of experience in customer service, human resources, talent acquisition, and workforce leadership across the utility, energy, industrial, and corporate sectors. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for fostering strong relationships, developing high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to joining Roaring Run Power Consulting, Selenna held numerous leadership roles within the electric utility industry, including positions with Duquesne Light Company, where she led initiatives spanning customer service operations, workforce planning, training and development, quality assurance, process improvement, employee relations, and talent acquisition. As Senior Manager of Customer Service Training, Workforce, Technology, Process, and Quality Assurance, she oversaw critical functions supporting the utility’s customer operations, including employee development, technology implementations, workforce management, and continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance the customer experience.
Selenna also brings extensive experience recruiting and developing talent within the power sector. During her tenure leading talent acquisition efforts for Duquesne Light Holdings, she managed recruiting strategies across the organization, successfully helping fill more than 1,100 positions ranging from engineers and skilled trades to executive leadership roles. She developed university recruiting and internship programs, established workforce development initiatives designed to introduce students to careers in the utility industry, and partnered closely with business leaders to align staffing strategies with long-term organizational objectives.
Her professional experience extends beyond the utility industry to organizations including Huntington Ingalls Industries, where she supported large-scale workforce initiatives within the nation’s largest military shipbuilding organization, and Atlas Energy, where she led recruiting efforts within the oil and gas sector. Most recently, Selenna has been an integral part of the Human Resources team at Diverzify, one of the nation’s largest commercial flooring contractors, providing strategic human resources support, employee relations guidance, organizational development, and business partnership across a dynamic, multi-state workforce.
At Roaring Run Power Consulting, Selenna leads the firm’s business operations, client engagement, and strategic initiatives. She is passionate about creating a seamless experience for clients and business partners by ensuring responsiveness, accountability, and clear communication throughout every engagement. Her extensive experience working directly with utility organizations, coupled with her expertise in customer service and workforce development, enables her to anticipate client needs and cultivate the trusted relationships that are foundational to the firm’s success.
Selenna believes that exceptional service begins with listening, understanding, and delivering on commitments.
